The Clino System 99 is the scaleable communications system from Ackermann by Honeywell and includes products to meet all requirements ranging from conventional optoacoustic call systems to highly integrated system solutions with digital voice transmission and multimedia at the patient’s or inhabitant’s bed. Of course the Clino System 99 complies with current standards and specifications for call systems stipulated in the German Institute for Standardization’s DIN VDE 0834: 2000-04.

Building on the proven Clino Phon 99 concept, the system is largely downwardly compatible and allows for long-term migration of the Clino Opt 99 and Clino Phon 95 systems. In addition to conventional call system features, the Clino System 99 provides other features for process support as well as contactless personalized system control (e.g. presence sensing device) and inexpensive integration of alternative maintenance and support concepts in senior citizen’s housing, patient hotels or in-house emergency call control centers. In addition to easy start up, the option of networking stations via the IP network as well as connection via the public telephone network are new performance features which facilitate planning, set-up and servicing of the Clino System 99.

The Integrated Patient Handset iPH:
In addition to the conventional functions of a nurse call system extra added value services are generated at the point of care: The iPH handset provides users with a fully integrated terminal device for telephony services, room and TV control. Its operation is intuitive: from a simple call button to the SIP-compatible telephone function. Furthermore, the device complies with highest ergonomic and hygienic standards. It has an anti-microbial surface and is IP67 moisture-proof. Connecting cables and housing cases are exchanged easily thus ensuring a long-term economic usage. The integrated RFID reader allows individual invoicing of value-added services, if combined with an accounting system and an optional pay station.

The Wall Module WM Smart:
Serves as a connecting unit in the wall or the medial rail. It is the interface to the call system and simultaneously facilitates the provision of broad-band value-added services via Ethernet or via existing DSL telecommunication cables. This technology prevents extensive interventions in the infrastructure.

Stations-Management-Controller SMC:
The conventional nurse call system is IP-networked to other systems with minimum effort. The new ward management controller seamlessly links existing and new call systems thereby offering homogeneous communication solutions.

The Clino System 99protect is based on the proven Clino System 99protect. The communication solution was adapted for use in facilities in which security is of relevance, and upgraded with additional functions to meet the special security requirements of locked facilities. Among other things, this includes emergency calls if presence time is exceeded, case by case switching from free duplex operation to one-sided half-duplex operation, automatic call reset (logged call suppression) and the secured and logged cancellation of eavesdropping protection. ­In addition to its features, the robust, vandalism-proof product design meets the requirements of security-sensitive areas.

The display and information system Clino Dashboard is used to display information, calls and alarms as part of the medical as nursing procedures of healthcare facilities. Clino Dashboard thus provides information where it is needed where it makes sense.

The networking of Clino Guard plus with the nurse call system is a key feature: a wide range of functions makes it easier and safer to organize care processes – from the protection of people suffering from dementia to device tracking. In this way, an integrated solution is created that combines all of the functions required. It provides practical support for care processes, including audit-proof recording of all calls and alarms.

The Ackermann Life Care System is optimally suited for flexible project solutions due to its modular construction. The system offers in-house emergency call functions conforming to EN 50134 standards thanks to the different Life Care controllers, the corresponding accessories as well as an emergency assistance control panel. In addition, the link to the Clino Phon 99 call system is carried out via a dedicated interface which enables a plain text transmission.
